History and Activities

East Midnapur Photographic Association or EMPA, established in 2012, is situated in East Midnapur District of West Bengal, INDIA. It is affiliated to Federation of Indian Photography(FIP).
It has already hosted a national and 5 international salons since 2012.

One of its founder member and a well known nature photographer Mr. Santosh Kumar Jana has been honoured with the prestigious EFIAP, AIIPC, Hon. PESGSPC distinctions. Many of its members has won awards across the globe.

It is also involved in various social welfare activities in the district of east midnapur.
